Ballantine Management Group developed, designed, constructed and privately financed the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center, a 120,000 square foot facility. Ballantine Management Group currently owns and operates this facility, which features an 80,000 square foot exhibit hall and a 20,000 square foot conference center with a grand ballroom and meeting space. The inception for this privately funded facility began in 2001 as part of Celebrate Virginia, a premier retail, entertainment and attractions destination, spanning 2,400 acres located off of Interstate 95, one hour south of Washington, DC. Ballantine Events currently produces 13 different types of consumer and trade events at this location.
The Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center operates as a full-service, one-stop facility. With everything under one roof, the client has one point of contact for all services and needs for his or her event. Ballantine Management Group owns the equipment and coordinates everything in-house for the following services: Audio-visual, Decorating, Electrical, Event Coordination, Food and Beverage, Shipping, and Telecommunications. |

In recent years, this series, has really found its niche as a way to bring big-name country acts to Fredericksburg. These concerts are like big outdoor parties. Celebrate Alabama Convention Center

Ballantine Management Group was selected as the co-developer and operator of the convention center complex for Celebrate Alabama. Celebrate Alabama, which is located in Opelika, Alabama, will be the area’s largest shopping and entertainment district. Ballantine Management Group will provide design and operating services for the convention center and attached hotel.

Bayside Expo & Conference Center
Boston, Massachusetts | 1999 - 2001 & 2009 - 2010
Ballantine Management Group was contracted to reopen and continue facility operations of the Bayside Expo & Conference Center in Boston, Massachusetts following the property foreclosure in early 2009. This facility boasted 280,000 square feet of exhibit and meeting space. The facility continued to host public consumer shows, private events and meetings, during a 9 month operating window until it was sold to the University of Massachusetts for campus housing and offices in the spring of 2010.

Pennsylvnia Expo & Conference Center at Lehigh Valley
Allentown, Pennsylvania | 2002 - 2006
Ballantine Management Group purchased a retail center and converted the building into a 115,000 square foot convention center. It was at this property that the subsidiary, Ballantine Events, began creating and producing public consumer shows. The property was sold for the development of a regional cancer center.

Dulles Expo & Conference Center
Chantilly, Virginia | 2000 - 2006
Ballantine Management Group was contracted to manage all pre-opening operations between 2000 and 2003, including the hiring of staff, implementation of all systems and controls, operational permitting and purchasing of all FF&E. The management of day-to-day operations of this 208,000 square foot facility continued from 2003 to 2005. Ballantine Management Group continued with consulting services and support for major events until 2006.
