Executive Management
• Day to day direction and oversight of the facility and Events.
• Ensure active participation with all necessary local civic groups and organizations.
• Provide in-house catering operations.
• Work in conjunction with the local CVB to promote the facilities and the City by having representatives from the facility and tourism office on all major event site visits.
• Communicate event information with on-site and/or local hotels to ensure clients received all-around exceptional service.
• Create and implement rental contracting and licensing system.
• Provide on-site principal staff to manage facility during events.
• Research and contract all necessary subcontractors, including decorating, security, electrical, telecommunications, parking and food & beverage services.

Facility Operations
• Establish systems and controls for building maintenance programs including long-range forecasting for cost-effective use of replacement reserves.
• Create and enforce facility rules and regulations that adhere to all local, state and federal laws.
• Implement extensive security and life safety programs.
• Implement hurricane and emergency preparedness “mega” sheltering plan.
• Manage logistics of event set-ups, as well as operations set-up/teardown crew and cleaning staff.

Financial and Accounting Services
• Run comprehensive, detailed and accurate financial reports.
• Providea comprehensive audit service for in-house and subcontracted services.
• Report budgetary rolling forecast monthly.
• Complete convention room tax, actual and projected.

Facility Sales
• Create event booking calendar and system.
• Managedall rental contractual negotiations.
• Create facility rental rates, including all sales brochures, forms, cost proposals, invoices and weekly sales reports.
• Work with marketing department to successfully market facility space, as well as all services offered.

Marketing
• Create and maintain facility website listing facility specifications, event booking calendar and public event calendar.
• Manage memberships in all event and industry associations.
• Create all sales collateral pieces.
• Work directly with the local CVB to jointly advertise the facility, as well as the City.

Customer Service
• Implement a “one-stop shop” program using knowledgeable and efficient event coordinators to promote and monitor in-house profit centers, as well as ensured that all staff delivered the highest levels of service.
• Establish checks and balances for all services provided, including all in-house and subcontracted services.
• Introduce a client advisory board to provide platform for valuable feedback.

Event Coordination
• Coordinated all details of events with clients.
• Distributed event information to all staff.
• Handled the scheduling of security, cleaning and parking staff.

Catering Operations
• Food and beverage FF&E.
• Food and beverage P&L reporting
• Sales and marketing of in-house operation.
• Banquet event order systems.
• Just-in-time ordering for efficient usage of cash flow funds.
